Highlights of the meet:
We started off the night with the Men’s 200 Medley Relay winning and qualifying for state!  Our B relay took 3rd and just missed qualifying by .21: Conner, Justin, John and Zach.   Some very impressive splits with Patrick going 26.25, Jacob 30.40, Ryan 26.14 and Jay Wellman 24.73.  Our B relay had good swims too with Conner at 28.54, Justin 31.41, John 26.6 and Zach anchoring with a 25.52!

Our ladies A relay took 2nd and qualified for state.  Our B relay of Kelsey, Colleen, Mariel and Caitlin took 3rd.

We took 1st and 2nd in the 200 Free with Patrick and Max both qualifying for state.  A great swim turned in by Troup in 5th.

Jacob Saban had his hands full in the 2IM and needed just another yard or so to come back on Nick Cassidy.  He just ran out of pool but had a great swim in 2:09.23 and qualified for state!  We finished 2nd thru 5th with Alex, Kevin and Eric Nelson taking 3rd thru 5th.

In the 50 Free Jay Wellman took 1st but missed qualifying for State by going 24.05 and the State Q time is 23.50.  Conner took second with 24.15, Justin took 4th in 24.79 and Eric Nolfa was 6th in 25.45, and Zach Thorne was 7th in 25.93.

Danielle Bordes won the 50 Free for the ladies and qualified for state!  Megan Russell was third in 28.75.
Ryan Loushin just missed the State Q for 100 fly by .05!  He went 58.05.  John Durham took second and Kevin Adam 4th and Austin Bailey 5th.

Ditto for the ladies with Danielle just missing the State Q by .34!  She took first, followed by Mariel Rico in 2nd.

Max Lee had a great swim in the 100 free going 51.81 to qualify for State and to take the win!  The state q time is 52.00.  He was followed by Jay Wellman in 2nd and Zach Thorne in 3rd.  A very impressive swim by Zach in 58.88!  Brandon Young took 5th.

Peyton Carrington won the 100 Free, Megan took 4th and Meredith Hall had a great swim in for 6th.

Ryan Loushin didn’t miss his second opportunity to qualify for state tonight going an impressive 4:56.83 in the 500 Free, easily winning by almost a minute 10 seconds!  Conner took 3rd, Bowen 4th and Eric Nelson 6th.

The ladies 500 Free was a complete mess for the counters for Centennial obviously can’t count to 20?!  Lida Walsh won but there is no way she went a 5:05!  She would’ve won anyway but was short by a 50.  Their second place girl should’ve been 4th but she was short a 50 as well.  Thus Emily and Elizabeth should’ve been 2nd and 3rd but were 3rd and 4th?!  I believe their 5th place girl was actually a 50 short as well and should’ve been behind Meredith Hall.  Well, at least we can count at Alpharetta!
Good swims ladies!

The boys won the 200 Free relay and qualified for state.  The splits for our A relay: Max 23.56, Conner 25.03, Justin 24.14 and Jay 23.00.  Our B and C relays were 3rd and 4th.

Our ladies took 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 6th in the 200 Free relay.

Patrick Cusick continued his winning ways and won the 100 back by :05 and qualified for state.  John Durham was 3rd, Christain Campbell 4th and Bowen 5th.

Brooke Beisner had a nice win by: 03.

Jacob had a great race going in the 100 Breast and looked to be touched out however Nick Cassidy was disqualified for an illegal touch, thus taking 1st and qualifying for state in 1:06.47.  Captain Justin Stubel was second, Alex 4th and freshman Jeromy Hiatt 6th.

Peyton Carrington won her second event of the night but just missed her state q in the 100 Breast.  Captain Colleen Adam took 3rd and Jane Toddy 4th.

To finish off the night we won both the Men’s and Women’s 400 Free relay and both teams qualified for state!  Danielle Bordes anchored the A relay in a very quick 57.74!  A great finish to a great night!

Congratulations Raiders!
